KYIV, Ukraine, DUBAI, United Arab Emirates and NEW YORK, July 27, 2026 - Kyivstar Group Ltd. (Nasdaq: KYIV; KYIVW), the parent company of JSC Kyivstar (“Kyivstar”), Ukraine's leading digital operator and part of VEON Group (Nasdaq: VEON), today commemorated the first anniversary of Kyivstar’s historic Nasdaq listing by ringing the Closing Bell at the Nasdaq stock exchange in New York City. Led by Kyivstar President Oleksandr Komarov, the ceremony honored Kyivstar’s notable distinction as the first Ukrainian company to list on the Nasdaq, connecting one of Ukraine's leading businesses directly to American and global capital markets.

Over that period, the company has expanded its digital ecosystem across connectivity, digital healthcare, mobility and entertainment: it strengthened its healthcare offering through the acquisition of Tabletki.ua, scaled Uklon's mobility platform, and rolled out new connectivity solutions, including Starlink Direct to Cell capabilities
